Jerome is a proud lifelong Oregonian, growing up in the small rural community of Oakridge in western Oregon. As a youngster, Jerome grew up in his father’s shadow, learning and experiencing the many aspects of corporate aviation and the adventure it offers. After high school, he attended Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon, earning an Associate’s degree in Flight Technology, along with single- and multi-engine commercial ratings. He then attended Northwest Christian University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management. While attending college, he worked full time as a line service tech at Eugene Airport.
Jerome joined Sunquest in September 2012, and became a captain in April 2015. When not flying, Jerome’s main passion is salmon fishing, especially on the Siuslaw River. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Kristina, and they have their beloved yellow Labrador, Tule.
Patrick is the newest captain in the group, but has been flying for almost a decade. He joined the team in 2015, and enjoys the many challenges and rewards that accompany the job of pilot.
Patrick attended flight school at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon, where he obtained his ratings and flight instructor’s license. While at LCC, Patrick earned the “Most Outstanding Pilot Award” during his first year and the “Instructors’ Choice Award” in his second year. He went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Southern Oregon University. In his spare time, Patrick pursues his passion for fitness and the outdoors. Hiking and spending time with close friends top his list of preferred activities.
Jamie received his private, commercial, multi-engine and instrument ratings at Lane Aviation Academy in Eugene, Oregon, where he was named the Most Outstanding Graduate in 2008. He first served as a First Officer with SeaPort Airlines, transporting passengers throughout the Northwest in a small single-engine airplane, then flew as a Captain based in Memphis. On his days off, he worked washing and waxing airplanes at the Portland Airport. He earned his Airline Transport Pilot certificate while flying 50- and 76-passenger jets for Endeavor Airlines, a Delta Airlines subsidiary.
Jamie joined SunQuest as a Captain in 2016 for a better quality of life and to spend more time with his family. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, backpacking, and exploring waterfalls with his fiancée and dog.
Jill Smith started flying in 1986 and since then has flown over 10,000 hours in over 50 models of aircraft with over 20 years experience in Cessna Citations. She got her start flight instructing and flying in different areas of Alaska. She has flown all over the United States and has also flown in Canada, Europe, The Caribbean, Central and South America. She is also an active flight instructor and is always happy to see more people experience the joy of flying.
She enjoys flying to new places and meeting new people. She also appreciates being able to hike and explore the places she goes.
